Lauren Cecil is the Project Controls Manager at AdvanSix – a fully integrated manufacturer of nylon 6 resin, chemical intermediates and ammonium sulfate fertilizer. Lauren is responsible for managing and analyzing the capital portfolio across AdvanSix and working closely with finance to meet business objectives. Leading a team of 20 professionals, she is transforming the Project Controls organization and the capital management process at AdvanSix.

Lauren brings more than 13 years of experience focusing her career in the chemical manufacturing industry. Since graduating with a Chemical Engineering degree from Michigan State University she has held positions of increasing responsibility at the site and corporate levels and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. Prior to joining AdvanSix, she was the Business Engineering Director for Advanced Materials at Honeywell; where she was responsible for prioritizing capital projects against the business strategy.
