Monica possesses 20+ years' environment, health and safety (EHS) experience solving complex business issues in diverse industries in developed, developing and emerging markets. She is a strategic, visionary and collaborative leader and consensus-builder for achieving business objectives, assuring EHS regulatory compliance, driving world class EHS performance, and supporting sustainable business growth. Monica’s proven track record includes developing and executing highly effective global EHS strategies to reduce occupational hazards and risks; preventing incidents; minimizing the environmental impact from operations; improving operational efficiency; reducing business continuity risks; integrating EHS across the business value chain; and leveraging sustainability for maximum value creation.

 

She currently oversees EHS and sustainability for Comcast Cable's Freedom Region, setting strategy and directing its implementation for nearly 6,000 employees serving 2.1 million customers across northern Delaware, Greater Philadelphia Area and New Jersey. She is also a member of the Comcast Corporate Sustainability Team, and serves as Customer Experience Transformation Lead, Internet Essentials Ambassador, and past lead of the Freedom Region Veteran's Employee Resource Group. Prior to joining Comcast, Monica held roles of increasing responsibilities in EHS, sustainability, strategic planning, operational compliance, risk management and business continuity at GlaxoSmithKline, Eaton and Kellogg's.

 

Monica holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Drexel University and an M.S. in Water Resources & Environmental Engineering from Villanova University.
